RESIDENCY & Shadow Programs
Interested students may apply to the Medical Assisting Residency Program, which pairs students with a Medical Assistant preceptor in one of the physician practices at The Christ Hospital Health Network. MA Residents work as part of the patient care team, alongside a MA, in this paid residency opportunity. Many resident positions transition to a full-time MA position upon MA certificate program completion.
Our Medical Assisting Clinical Certificate Shadowing Program, which started in Spring 2025, allows students to shadow within the specialty medicine practices within The Christ Network. This program is available to all Medical Assisting Clinical Certificate students.
